"The hosts were great, they were able to adapt to our check in/check out time which was extremely helpful and made the experience even better. Also gave us tips on where to eat and what to do! The apartment had everything we needed, even beach equipment like mattresses, towels and a little beach parasol. The location was also perfect, few min away from the beach, plenty of places to eat at nearby!"

"We had a fantastic stay at Marco and Maddalena’s apartment! The location is perfect – right in the city center and just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and everything you might need. Communication with the hosts was excellent; they provided clear, detailed instructions and were very friendly throughout. We especially appreciated their flexibility with early check-in and late check-out, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. I stayed with a friend and we both agreed we’d definitely return. Highly recommend!"

"- Just a tip for families traveling with strollers: to avoid carrying it to the 4th floor, bring bike lock. We've managed to lock ours to the banisters on the staircase, - Nice old town can be pretty loud at night (parties till 3am, then cleaning crews on the streets)"

"Marco was in contact with me before we arrived and met us at the door. He gave us lots of information about Nice and the surrounding areas and even sent us restaurant recommendations! He took time to show us around the apartment and explained how everything worked. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Marco and Maddalena kindly left us complimentary treats including a bottle of wine. The apartment was in a very central location in the old town. Can be noisy at night but it is situated a bit away from the bars and restaurants. Very easy to check out, someone came to the apartment and collected the keys from us. Be wary if you are not good on your feet, there is about 4 flights of stairs to climb and no lift. Great for the glutes but not if you have mobility problems. Overall, really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment."

"Marco and Maddelena have furnished the flat with everything that they would wish to find in a holiday let - even to a bottle of wine and another of OJ. It is in a relatively quiet area of the old town but just yards/metres from restaurants and shops and a few minutes walk from the sea. Fantastic water pressure too - no dribbly showers here. And plenty of cupboard etc space too."

"Neither thing bothered us ( we are in our mid seventies) but this property is not for you if you struggle with stairs - there are 80 up to the flat and no lift - or if you want a view from the windows which all look out over the narrow street below. But that’s the old town for you."

"The location of the apartment was excellent; right in Old Town Nice, close to many restaurants, shops and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Marco was a superb host; he was extremely helpful throughout our stay and was willing to help us with any questions we had. We purchased a train/tram/bus pass and had day trips to other cities/towns (Villefranche-sur-Mer, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, Eze, Monaco, Sanremo Italy, Cannes, Antibes, Entrevaux and Annot.) We loved everything about our visit and highly recommend a visit to Nice and a stay in this apartment."

"The location of the apartment was excellent, very close to the beach, Cours Salaya market, restaurants, bars and shops of the old town. Surprisingly quiet at night. The kitchen was well equipped, useful consumables provided such as oil, spices, coffee capsules, washing tablets, basically everything you would need was kindly provided for our stay, it was also great to have a useful washing machine and a complementary bottle of wine and juice in the fridge was a pleasant surprise. We appreciated the beach towels, mats and a parasol. There are toiletries provided in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the use of the fan was essential as it was very hot when we visited. The air conditioning unit in the lounge was welcome. Marco was an exceptional host with great communication throughout our stay and gave us lots of useful information for restaurants and places to visit."

"There are many stairs to the apartment which could be a challenge as it was for us personally, especially in the heat of the summer after a full day out. The bathroom could do with redecoration and a curved shower curtain rail would have suited the corner bath better to avoid water splashes."
